Relais Orso is a design accomodation in the heart of Rome, just 220 yards from Piazza Navona square. In a 17th-century town house, its rooftop terrace offers panoramic views out over the city.Designed by Italian architect Danilo Maglio, Relais Orso combines old with new. The original features of the townhouse include original floors and the 15th-century marble door. The property's stylish wine bar is in the original cloisters.Opened in 2012, the property is just across the Tiber River from Castel Sant'Angelo. It is less than half a mile from the Pantheon and an 8 minute walk from Rome's most exclusive shopping district on Via dei Condotti.Rooms and suites feature oak floors, and exposed red-brick walls.A continental breakfast buffet is served daily. With its open-plan kitchen and atmospheric fireplace, the restaurant serves a mix of Roman dishes and international cuisine.Twizy electric cars, which allows you to circulate in the historic center, can be rented on site.
